Local Interest Group 2020 - Linlithgow Palace

Seems to be becoming a current theme but the Local Interest group had a fine bracing day out at Linlithgow Palace. The steps were a bit of a problem for some but others got a fair bit of exploration in before the chill factor became too severe. The carvings on the fountain and in all the different rooms hidden away in wee nooks and crannies were nice to see and find. No prizes if you can guess which member of the group noticed that the ginormous main wooden doors needed a bit of WD40 applied as they were squeeky doors? Other lubricants are available. This was our last group activity before the Corona virus interupted our lives so hopefully we can get back to normality in time to enjoy a bit of the summer.
