Swimming 2006

The swimming group has been sampling some of the local pools to find the warmest! So far we have tried Musselburgh, Prestonpans, Haddington, Dunbar, North Berwick, Portobello and Bonnyrigg. Bonnyrigg pool wins hands down for temperature although some days we get a bit suspicious and wonder if their thermometer is really working. Haddington 'Aubigny' pool deserves a special mention for its warm shallow pool, always bath like in temperature and nice and easy to get in and out off. Prestonpans and Musselburgh pool are firm favourites for the sauna and jacuzzi. Still waiting for a chance to try the hydrotherapy pool. Dunbar pool is in a great location overlooking the harbour. Great fun pool with slides and waves. North Berwick is good if you live up by the Law. Otherwise use the sea. Only joking. Best trampoline centre ever. If all our plans come together then a trip to Perth to sample the delights of the out door pool will be our next adventure.
