Amisfield Revisited 2006 - 2017

For those of you with looonnng memories here are some new pictures of Amisfield Walled Garden. Way back in 2006 we started a group in this garden but, if you look at the pictures from then, you will see a bit of what it used to be like. There was a forest of mature trees covering the entire garden. It was a beautiful wild paradise untouched for decades. Anyway, a group was set up to try and give the gardens back some of their former glory. Not the prisoner of war camp! A glorious walled garden that people could visit and use and enthuse about. I think the group who now look after the gardens have done just that. What a really lovely day out and a gorgeous ramble looking for the ha-ha.
