Y.A.A.C. 2006   

This group (Young Adults Accessing their Community) are working on their social interaction and independent travel skills. They are accessing their community and its resources with some assistance from staff. The group make choices about where to go and what to do each week. They choose various places to pursue their hobbies and interests. Once out they decide where and when to have lunch. The centre bus drops them off and public transport is used to return. They enjoy spending their time with their peer group socialising, going to the cinema, tenpin bowling and shopping in Edinburgh.
