Port Seton Centre - 25yr Anniversary
A weekend of celebrations was held on the 23rd to 25th August 2019 to mark the 25 years since the centre opened. The centre was opened by John Bellany and has seen a good bit of community life since then. The centre is a regular haunt for mums and toddlers, dancing classes, the community choir, the learning and physical disability groups, artists and educators and amatuer radio enthusiasts and countless more. The Management Committee strive to bring in new activities and keep the programme fresh for each season. The new sports hall project will start late August 2019 and should be completed in Spring 2020. Great. Tasters on the Saturday included: Me-Time Relaxation, Dance Scotland, Stepping Stones, Yoga, Tai Chi, Raising Teens with Confidence, Table Tennis, Pilates and Youth Theatre. A big thanks to all who participated and attended. It was great to see you all.
