Natures Larder 2006
This group started early in the summer. The plan was to produce good preserves of a high quality to sell to friends and family. The group has so far bought their ingredients but hope to pick as much local produce as possible when in season. The group is extremely enjoyable and it is most satisfying to see an end result. So far we have made Strawberry, Raspberry, Bramble & Apple, Gooseberry & Ginger and Plum jam. We have also made Lemon Curd, Orange, Pink Grapefruit & Apricot marmalade and some Sweet Chilli Sauce. Next in line is to be a Honey Mustard.
