Lawn Bowling 2006
This is the group's second year on the greens at Port Seton and Cockenzie bowling club. Service users have the use of Port Seton's bowling shoes and bowls. Each Tuesday afternoon from 1:45 to 3:00 service users are welcomed on to rinks 5 and 6 to play their games. The jack and mats are provided by the bowling club and service users help carry all the equipment required for play. Some service users have bowled in the past and are as keen as mustard. For our beginers, it's a whole new adventure. We stick to the rules of the green and the basic rules of the game and we all get pretty much stuck in with enthusiasm to the game. Everybody thoroughly enjoys the competition and like to keep score. The winner at the end gets a big applause. It's often laughs all round and a great way to get fresh air and excersise.
Some fine delivery shots and interested spectators. After an inspection, it's congratulations to the winner.
