Kelpies Day Out 2018

Great day out at the Kelpies on Monday but boy what a scorcher. We've been here before but it is nice to see the site developing and getting a bit greener and more pleasing. The sun glinting off all the metalwork and splitting the sky from side to side was definitely a first. It's a pity about the line of pylons all along the far side of the canal but I guess we all like our comforts so I'm not complaining too much. Hope to be back again some time soon and maybe we can try to get a journey along the canal on some of the beautiful wee barges.
