Learning Disability Joint Planning Group 2015

What a great wee meeting at Brunton Hall for the Learning Disability Joint Planning Group. A number of speakers provided information and feedback on what leisure and work opportunities are available and planned in the East Lothian area. There was contributions from New Beginnings Club, Smart Talk, Get2gether East Lothian, East Lothian Works, UPMO, Visualise, enjoyleisure, Tynebank Centre, Fisherrow Hub and PSRC. Communication seemed to be identified as one of the main areas to tackle in the future as there seems to be a wide and glorious range of groups and activities available but sharing and communicating all that information for the widest posible audience still seems to be a stumbling block. Any suggestions gratefully received.
