Scottish Half Marathon + 10K - 2019

Absolutely brilliant day for the Scottish Half Marathon + 10K race down in East Lothian. William smashed it again in only his second run out. From a time of 37mins and 11secs for his first ever run over 5K, William has just gone and run a 10K in 1hr 18mins 13secs. Even although the distance has doubled he has managed to maintain his speed and work rate over that doubled distance. Awesome piece of effort. Again, William did not just put all this effort and time in for himself. He has helped to raise some money for the charity Stroke Association which William thanks for looking after his mum when she needed the help. All the best William, great effort, your mum would be so proud. Thanks to the family and friends who turned out to support William and thanks to John who helped train and prepare William for this big day. We will be round collecting his sponsor money in the next few weeks. I'll update the total then.
