Local Interest Group 2020 - Bird Sanctuary

The Local Interest Group went on a wee local gallery and museum tour recently as the weather was really cold and damp and miserable for a change. We went to the bird sanctuary down at Aberlady and later went to the John Muir Centre in Haddington. Both visits were very nice but I only have pictures from the bird sanctuary. There was a lovely display on called 'Kindred Spirits', with some great pictures and statues of wild african animals. The connecting theme seemed to be that all the artist's had at some time worked up at Edinburgh Zoo. Some really lovely work though. It was also nice to have a wee wander around the centre and look around the pond and surroundings. Turned a grey day into a very colourful and enlightening day. Thanks to both centres.
