Barns Ness Geological Walk - with Fossils!!

 This is another favourite location for the walking and recording group. Thanks to a leaflet from the Lothian and Borders RIGS Group we now know and saw for ourselves the local fossils and geology that makes this walk so fascinating. The hollows in the limestone, the coal seam, the false dyke, and the Dunbar marble. We have walked this way many times before but to have it explained and described so brilliantly in their leaflet makes the world of a difference and the world seem different. Thanks very much.
