Amisfield Garden Project 2006

Phase 1 - The gardens have been abandoned for years and need a lot of work. 

The Amisfield Garden Project takes place in an old walled garden that has been abandoned for years. It involved a fair amount of spade and rake work work just to prepare an area to get started. It looks like some path repair work where old roots are being dug up. This work might have to continue all summer and might even have to include deckchairs and suntan lotion to protect them from the ravages of the brutal Scottish climate. Visitors welcome, could you remember to bring some drinks and a wee snackette. It's thirsty work you know.
