Falkirk Wheel Barge Trip 2011

The Falkirk Wheel barge trip is provided by the Seagull Trust which is a charity that provides free canal cruising for disabled people. Please use the link to visit their web site. This is a bit of a longer trip than the Ratho one but the most exciting bit of the journey is at the end when you cruise right out into what seems mid air so the barge can be wheeled around and down in a giant bucket. It's a bit more technical than that but hopefully the pictures will give you a bit of an idea. For an upgrade I suggest they turn the wheel in to an infinity pool. Then when you cruise into it it will look like you can just cruise right on to the horizon. OK, sounds a bit dangerous now that I've written it down. Plan B anyone?
